He has a track record of successfully integrating strategic planning, budgeting, OKR/goal setting, and performance management processes while exercising day-to-day organizational management responsibilities. Originally from New Zealand, Korey completed his Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and has lived and worked in America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Darien Maples brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the field of cybersecurity, with over 12 years of working for both small and large cybersecurity companies. Her background in building strong technology ecosystems and revenue-generating partnerships demonstrates her ability to drive growth and innovation in the industry.
As the Managing Director for Girls in Tech Dallas, Darien has played a pivotal role in supporting and empowering women in the technology sector. Her leadership and advocacy have helped women excel in the tech industry by providing them with valuable resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

Emma is a cross-sector technology policy leader with a commitment to human rights, safety, and trustworthy information online and off.
She currently leads the Global Youth Safety and Wellbeing Policy team on TikTok's Trust and Safety team.
Before that, while on the Responsible Technology team at Omidyar Network, Emma led a portfolio focused on youth organizing and responsible technology. There she also worked on a broad range of technology policy and platform accountability issues, including consumer protection, competition, misinformation, online safety, AI and privacy policy. At Omidyar Network, she co-founded the Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, a $2m, 15-funder pooled fund looking to resource youth leaders working on responsible technology design, policy and advocacy. Before Omidyar Network, Emma researched the complexities of biometric digital identity, focused specifically on India’s Aadhaar infrastructure at the London School of Economics. Before that, she researched the financial challenges faced by new internet users in India, Indonesia, Mexico and Brazil at Google. In 2016, Emma was a recipient of a Fulbright-Nehru Research Fellowship where she led research at the nexus of human rights and anthropology in Maharashtra, India. Passionate about the intersection of arts and social change, she has also worked in civil society on performing arts education. She holds a B.A. in religion from Oberlin College and an M.A. in international development with a focus on technology from the LSE. Emma serves on the board Cyber Collective, the advisory board of the Center for Intimacy Justice, and is a non-resident Technology Policy Fellow with UC Berkeley.
As Professor of Media, Culture, and Communication at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, his scholarly work focuses on the intersections of race, digital media, and racial justice activism. He is the founder of the Center for Critical Race and Digital Studies and the author of the new book, Black Software: The Internet & Racial Justice, From the AfroNet to Black Lives Matter, by Oxford University Press. He also co-authored the award-winning book, Race Appeal: How Political Candidates Invoke Race In U.S. Political Campaigns. He received his Ph.D. in Communication and a Master's of Human Relations, both from the University of Oklahoma, and a B.A. in Family Psychology from Oklahoma Baptist University.
